DESCRIPTION:Exploring Famous Artists and Styles of Painting\n\nIn this seri
 es of classes\, adult students will explore the work of 8 famous artists a
 nd will produce works of art based on the influences\, styles and techniqu
 es of well-known artists.  Students will use a variety of art media. Clas
 ses will be on Monday evenings  from 6 to 8 pm  The cost is $40 per clas
 s with all materials provided.\n\nOctober 23th\n\nMarc Chagall (July 6\, 1
 887 – March 28\, 1985)\n\nMarc Chagall was a Russian-French artist.  Al
 though he borrowed elements from Cubism\, Impressionism\, and Fauvism\,
  Chagall developed a style that cannot be classified with any artistic mov
 ement of his time.  His  images based on emotional and poetic associatio
 ns\, rather than on rules of pictorial logic
