
In this series of classes, students will explore the work of 8 famous artists and will produce works of art based on the influences, styles and techniques of well-known artists. Students will use a variety of art media such as acrylic paint, watercolour paint, pen and ink and coloured pencil. Classes will be on Saturday afternoons from noon until 2 pm. The cost is $40 per class with all materials provided.
Wassily Kandinsky (December 18, 1866 – December 13, 1944 )
Russian artist, Wassily Kandinsky was one of the first creators of pure abstraction in modern painting. Kandinsky felt that he could express feelings and music through colors and shapes in his paintings.
