Located in the community of Essex, the Essex & Community Historical Research Society (“ECHRS”) is a community-based organization focused on preserving history of our local areas. We research and document such information and provide accommodations for their safekeeping. ECHRS encourages historical and genealogical research and we also provide public access to our archives.
